Beautiful Journey Academy is a licensed family childcare program, located in the city of Detroit. Our goal is to provide the best quality care/education and to graduate children out of our program, prepared to excel in their elementary years. We are curriculum based. We use both Creative Curriculum and Journey to Early Education. We also believe in many early childhood theorist who paved the way Child Development. Our program is homebased, ytt it has a center feel. Our ratio for teacher to children is much smaller than center based programs, so your child receives more one on one interaction. We focus on a variety of things, but the most important are social/emotional development, fine motor/gross motor skills cognitive skills and language/literacy skills. We offer three nutritious meals, math, science, Spanish, yoga, basketball, soccer, a phenomenal reading program, assistance with potty training, "watch me grow" infant program, field trips and so much more.
